The first 2 academic years provide pre-clinical medical knowledge mostly in theoretical subjects.
Soon after students are prepared enough with theoretical knowledge, they start practising in simulators. But a doctor must be trained in real-life situations as well - that’s why bedside teaching is also included in the curriculum.
