Living on your own in Tartu costs around €1000 per month. Private 1-bedroom apartment costs between €290 and €400 per month. For electricity, heating, water, and Internet, you will pay up to €250/month. Food and leisure time are based on your standards, but on average, a student spends no more than €350-€400 monthly.

Term Dates

The academic year begins on the 1st of September and the autumn semester finishes at the end of January. Shortly after, the 8th of February is the start of the spring semester. It continues until the end of June.
