University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB) was established in 1998 in Milan. The university has 8 faculties with different academic programs. The medical faculty offers an M.D. course with a duration of 6 years, entirely taught in English.

Accommodation

UNIMIB has students housing in several buildings around Milan. The average capacity of a building is around 200 students. Some dorms are a few minutes away from the campus, and others are connected to it by train or metro.

The hostels consist of single and shared rooms with private bathrooms. There are shared kitchens, laundry rooms, and leisure time facilities. Also, in several of the buildings, there are bike depots and gardens. 

The average rent is around €350 per month. It includes room, utilities, and the usage of all the shared spaces around the dormitory. 

Renting a flat in Milan and living on your own might be a bit expensive. The rent for a one-bedroom apartment varies between €800 and €1,200 based on the location. Including the utilities and living expenses, you will spend around €1,500 - €1,700 every month.

Term Dates

The academic year here starts on the 1st of October and lasts until the end of December. January and February are the winter exam session.

The second semester begins on the 1st of March and finishes at the end of June. An exam session follows it in July.
