At this point, students begin getting hands-on experience through simulation labs so they can get the skills necessary for clinical training.
Stage 3 - advanced clinical training, research & internships
In the final phase, students participate in intensive clinical rotations, working with small, large, and exotic animals. This also includes learning about animal welfare, public health, and food safety. Towards the end of the programme, students complete a supervised research project and may choose a veterinary speciality for their thesis, as well as an internship.
Upon completing the vet degree, students are awarded an internationally recognised DVM degree with accreditation that gives them the right to licensure and clinical practice throughout the EU and beyond.
