Students start off their practical training with laboratory work, medical mannequins, simulated patients and clinical case studies. This is followed by early hospital visits for exposure to real clinical cases with an introduction to patient communication skills and basic physical examinations.

3. Clinical Rotations (Years 5-6) for advanced training in internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and psychiatry. At this phase, students take on hospital placements in affiliated Georgian university hospitals, as well as preparation for international licensing exams.
