CEU Cardenal Herrera University (CEU UCH) is a private university established in 1999, with roots going back to the 1970s. The main campus of CEU UCH is in Alfara del Patriarca, near Valencia, Spain, but the university also has campuses in Elche and Castellon de la Plana.

The dentistry programme in English is carried out at the Alfara campus, which is equipped with specialised dental facilities, including laboratories, simulation rooms, and its own modern dental clinic with a 2nd one being built in Elche.

The CEU Cardinal Herrera University dentistry degree is a 5‑year (300 ECTS) programme with the option to study in English or bilingually (English and Spanish).

The curriculum at CEU UCH goes over both theoretical and practical aspects of dental education. From the very 1st year, you can expect to go through introductions to the biomedical sciences along with progressively increasing practical and clinical training.

By the 3rd year, students begin working in real‑life clinical settings, treating patients under supervision at the university’s own Dental Clinic. By this stage students start developing hands-on experience in restorative care, oral surgery basics, diagnostics, and many more dental procedures.

CEU UCH is equipped with training facilities specifically for developing clinical skills in dentistry. This includes:
