Avicenna - Batumi Medical University is a new and modern university located in Batumi, Georgia. It is authorised and accredited by the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE), which is recognised by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

The university offers a unique programme to study medicine called the Austrian Medical Programme (AMP). It is designed in a 3+3 model where students study medicine in Georgia for the first 3 years and prepare, from year 1, to spend the final 3 years in Austria.
