Which medical schools in Europe have 2026 February intakes?
Medical University of Silesia, Poland
(Application deadline is 1st December 2025)
The admission deadline for the February 2026 intake for accelerated and regular medicine in English at Silesia Medical University is 1st December 2025. It's better to apply as soon as possible because seats are limited.
If you miss this deadline or there are no seats left, you will have to try again for the autumn intake in September.
The tuition fees per year are €15,100.
Pleven Medical University, Bulgaria
(Application deadline is 1st October 2025)
Pleven Medical University is the only university in Bulgaria that offers a spring intake. The only medical programme taught in English is medicine. The deadline for applying is 1st October.
There’s 1 intake per year here, and it’s in February. All seats are usually taken in round 1 of applications as this is a very popular medical school.
The annual tuition fees for medicine are €8,500.
Riga Stradins University, Latvia
(Application deadline is 1st December 2025)
Riga Stradins University is also one of the few European medical schools that offer a spring intake in February. International students can enrol in medical and dental programmes taught in English. The application deadline is 1st December 2025.
Missing the deadline means that your next chance for entry will be in September 2026.

- Dentistry - €15,500

European University in Tbilisi, Georgia
(The deadline for students who need visas is 25th February 2026, and for students who do not need visas, it is 10th March 2026)
Unlike the above-listed universities, the European University of Georgia offers a spring intake in March 2026 instead of February. English courses are available in medicine and dentistry.
The admission deadline is 25th February for students who need a visa and 10th March 2026 for those who don't, and the yearly tuition fees are:
- Medicine - €5,300
- Dentistry - €4,350
